What Are the Most Common Car A/C Repairs When the Air Is Blowing Warm? Quick Answer When a vehicle’s A/C blows warm, one of the most common findings is low refrigerant, often called Freon. A properly sealed automotive A/C system does not normally use up refrigerant. If the charge is low, refrigerant has escaped through a leaking component, hose, seal, or connection. The correct repair is not simply adding refrigerant; the system must be tested to locate and repair the leak. Growing up I can remember watching all these old shows my parents loved like Leave it to Beaver and The Waldens.
