Brandon Auto Repair

Since my 2006 Ford Explorer has been out of warranty, I have been using Clarke Automotive Systems in Brandon, Florida for my service and repair work. Bob Clarke runs a very clean, technologically up to date operation. My last repair was a quirky electronic problem with the fault codes indicating a problem with the anti-skid/roll stability system. It could have been in the transfer case, or in one of the wheel sensors. Rather than putting a new transfer case ($1800) and replacing all the wheel sensors, he was able to narrow the problem down to one wheel sensor saving me a lot of money. I admire this shop’s integrity, customer service, and analytical skill. We could use more local shops of this caliber.

Mr. Clarke is by far the best mechanic I have ever been to. He is incredibly knowledgeable, fair priced, and one of the nicest men you'll ever meet. His staff is also excellent and efficient. They will bend over backwards to make sure your car is running properly. You can't ask for any better from a mechanic than Mr. Clarke.

I called at the last minute on the day I needed an oil change and I was offered two appointments to suit my schedule. The car was ready when promised, and I continue to applaud Clarke Automotive for their customer service. I always feel that I am dealing with honest people.

I'd just like to say how impressed I was with the service at Clarke Automotive Systems. From the minute I walked through the door I knew this would be the place I bring all of my automobiles from now on. There are some places that you just feel very comfortable and assured that you've come to the right place; and, this was definitely one of them. I can't tell you how many times I've passed by this place; however, I won't be passing by anymore. Thanks Bob and Matt and the rest of the staff. You will definitely see more of the Mitchell family in the future.

One of the best if not the BEST automotive repair center in Brandon Florida. Family owned and operated. Mr Clark makes sure each repair is reviewed and provides alternatives for each repair. Honesty and customer care is the most important service they offer. It is a pleasure to have someone explain what and why can be done to save customers money. I've been going to Clarke for the last 8 years for almost every issue I have. The fact that he want's to know what's actually wrong with the vehicle instead of just slapping together a quick fix and sending you on your way is one of the main reasons why I always come back to them. That and he'll tell you exactly what the issue is and where you likely stand long term with your vehicle.

Excellent, prompt service. Maintenace needs and costs were explained clearly and options given. Clarke may not be the cheapest, but they are honest. You get what you pay for.
