I could give a zero I would. I suggested my husband come to this place because he was having transmission problems with his car and this shop was closest to his job. BIG MISTAKE! I called Friday at about 5:16 p.m. to see what was going with the car, he said oh he has SOME metal in his transmission so we are going to do a flush and pray it rides fine. Eight minutes later he calls my husband and tells him that his car is junk and he should just get rid of it but they was gonna do a flush...that is not what you JUST told me 8 minutes ago. So Saturday we are prepared to bring the car home and the whole time this man, Bob Clarke is trying to get us to go to Toyota to buy a car or sale my husband's car to the junk man. We paid and took the car to my husband's mechanic to not only find out that there was no diagnostic testing done but that Bob Clarke NEVER did a flush on the car and the fluid was DIRTY. Basically his mechanics just topped new fluid with oil fluid. My husband called Bob today with his mechanic on the phone and he basically lied to my husband and his mechanic. I want all my money back because this doesn't make sense. If you didn't know how or didn't want to fix that car, that is all that needed to be said. I can't believe him...smh

If you value customer service, best value and honesty, I highly recommend you consider Clarke's Automotive for all of your car maintenance. I normally do all my own maintenance but I recently had an coolant overflow issue with my 06 Tacoma and all of the Forums suggested diagnostic tests and high levels of maintenance that I did not posses. Clarke's executed these diagnostic tests...and to my dismay, a head service was recommended.....with a quote of $3K+....double ouch! During the disassembly process, they discovered that my water pump had a crack and instead of just adding that to cost and continue to throw a kitchen sink at the problem, they decided to change out the water pump and re-administer the diagnostic tests. Turns out this was the issue and they saved me saved me $2K+!!!!

This place has very competent mechanics. Also, the Clarkes never try to sell you work your car doesn't need at that time. Many times they have told me that something could wait a little longer. Their prices are reasonable. I completely trust this business. That is not something I feel about most businesses.

My main mechanic for years now once again they come through for me. Wife's car broke down when I left town for family emergency. Car towed to shop and repaired very timely getting her back on road . Also allowing my inputs to get job done and save money at my time of need... None Better !

I've been a customer for 5 years. Every time I went there for scheduled maintenance or other issues, Matt and Bob Clark were always kind and informative. In a society where customer service is seriously lacking, it is a breath of fresh air to find a reliable automotive shop that has the one thing we need within the industry.....Integrity.
