I took my truck there after having some electrical problems. They found what part had gone bad and gave me a few options on what they could do. They were very transparent and updated me throughout the whole process. After they fixed that issue I felt comfortable asking them to look at another issue with a noise that would come up while turning that has been a constant headache but never been fixed. The previous attempt at fixing the noise, by another shop, ended up with a bill of $750 and the mechanic assured me the problem was fixed. Well turning to get out of their shop's parking lot and hearing that noise again assured me it wasn't. The people at Clarke's said they would take a look, got back to me that day saying they found the issue and that it would be a ~$90 fix including tax. I gave the go-ahead and then also got some other things done for maintenance. In the end, my truck was in their shop for about a week but Bob Clarke offered to cover a loaner on their expense if I was in need of transportation to help take the stress of the family. When I came to pick the truck up they gave me a print out of everything they did with pictures taken of any parts that were replaced or repaired, which was a first for me. Being able to see pictures of the worn down parts vs new parts was the icing on the cake for me. These guys were great and gave me a good price on some amazing work. I would definitely recommend calling Clarke Automotive for anyone needing help with their vehicle and I will definitely be back for any future repairs/maintenance.

If you're looking for an auto-repair shop you can trust, this is the place. Mr. Clarke and his son have been taking care of my cars for years. He fixed a water pump for me that went bad. It was out of warranty on miles but inside on years. Even though the parts manufacturer wouldn't honor it since it was over miles, Mr. Clarke did anyway. Then I was basically asking for a new starter knowing it was a bit of a guess as to the solution and he talked me OUT of it because it was an expensive repair and he wasn't confident that was the real issue. There's been plenty of times they could have up-sold or done "guess" repairs for me like other shops do and they don't do it. It's because they are a family run business that actually has integrity AND because they are a real diagnostic shop that doesn't "guess" or just follow computer codes. It's a two way road, be a reasonable and good customer/person with him and he will take care of you.

Had no appointment but had a nail in my tire. They fixed the tire at no charge because I bought the tires from them.

My car was taken at the appointment time and as always the work was explained to me in a professional manner. Suggestions were made as to how to keep my vehicle in excellent running proficiency without overspending on it.

I went to Clarke Automotive as I was told that is was a Christian owned and operated business. I'm so very glad I went. I was treated with respect and was told everything that needed to be done and just how. I was also told it would be about 1hour. It was less than 1 hr of time. You can definitely tell that MR.
