excellent service. We needed the plastic outdoor door handle for our 2011 RAV 4. Took the car in for Matt to see what need repair at no charge. He ordered the door handle, called us in less than a week to make an appointment have it replaced. Within an hour, the door handle was expertly replaced (and the inside of the door had to be removed). Friendly, expert people to work with.

I have used Clarke Automotive for the past 4 years and I have never been disappointed. They can and do stand by their work because their mechanics are well qualified. Although they are not the cheapest, their prices are fair and reasonable. They may recommend other work, but I have never thought they were up-selling me. I whole-heartedly recommend Clarke Automotive to my neighbors and friends and anyone who might read this review.

If any of you are like me: usually unable to open the hood of my vehicle without a stroke of luck, there is nothing more frightening and stressful than needing a car repair. The hope of finding an automotive shop that you can trust is truly a Godsend; and, I'm here to say: Clarke Automotive is that shop. Nothing beats trust. Trust to do only the job needed, trust to do the job right the FIRST time. Which is why -over the years- I have used Clarke's for all the above listed services, with great results every time. When car prices are beyond a years salary and often times labor costs are more than the parts replaced: knowing WHAT needs to be done and then getting it right the first time is fiscally imperative- and that's why I've been using Clarke Automotive since moving back to the Bay Area, nearly 10 years ago.
