I am truly blessed to have stumbled across this man and his shop. He runs his business the way businesses used to be run. He was reliable, honest, empathetic and compassionate. I was told he was good but busy and that it may take 2-3 days to get my car fixed. I settled into the fact that I would have to rent a car for 3 days. Well, Bob got my car back to me in LESS than 12 hrs. He suggested a "physical" for my car in the near future then tried to refer me to someone closer to me for my future repairs. Are you kidding me? I'm not going anywhere else. You are stuck with me Bob. You now have a new loyal customer. I look forward to working with you in the future.

Bob and Matt were honest and up front with me about the repairs that were necessary. They even went so far as to show me the damages BEFORE doing anything to the car. If you're looking for a mechanic in the Tampa area, look no further.

I had a broken Sky Slider on my Jeep Liberty.. Brought it to one Jeep Dealership and was told it had to be replaced and would cost me $5200 and I'd be without my car for three weeks, I paid a $100 diagnostic fee. and left devastated . I searched online and found Clarke Automotive. Although they were unable to repair the car, Bob Clarke took the time out to call another Jeep Dealership and set up a contact for me to have it looked at again and charged me nothing. When I went to the other dealer, not only did they tell me that it could be repaired, but that it would only cost me $1700 and a one day repair. Unbelievable to me the crooks that are out there. I will go to Bob Clarke for all of my service repairs and recommend them highly. Professional and Honest and not looking to rip you off. Can't thank you enough Bob and Matt.

After being told that my car needed to have the main seal replaced after they had already replaced the oil pan by another automotive company, I came to Clarke Auto and ended up having just the oil pan replaced.!!!! I will recommend Clarke Auto to all my family and friends.

Bob and Matt are always willing to offer their professional opinion on your vehicle without pushing an up sell. Whenever they present their solution to a problem it is always presented in a way that gives you all the facts. You'll know why it needs to be done, if it needs to be done now, and how it can be done cheapest without affecting the integrity of the vehicle or the quality of the parts. Bob and Matt are budget conscious, honest individuals that treat their customers as people and not bags of money.

After living here for nearly a year, I'm happy to say that I've found my car shop! They're honest, straightforward and do good work. That's all I ask for from an auto shop but it's seemingly harder to find.The gentleman at the front desk was very kind as well and clearly cares about his work and customers.

They always do good work. They don't try to sell work you don't need. They fully explain why you need what you need, what can safely be put off, and what is critical. They respect your budget. Great shop.
